I applied online in September 2017.
After applying about a week later I received email asking for an phone interview.
The phone interview was pretty basic. They just wanted to know a little bit more about your background and I was told I would hear back in about two weeks if I had moved on to the One-site interview.
I received an email asking the times I was available to come in for an on site interview.
Prior to the interview a recruiter will send you an email asking you to do an activity. There are two parts to the activity. The first one is that you must create an email to send to a restaurant owner asking them if they would be interested in working with UberEATS. The second activity is that you must create a 3 slide presentation to show to the client why they should work with UberEATS.
I was told to have it sent in before the on site interview and also print the email exercise and presentation out. I was told to prepare to pitch and present.
I was told to get to the office 10 minutes early. I was expecting a tour, but that didn't happen. Which is fine.
I interviewed with two people during the onsite interview. The first one was with the sales manager. He was super cool and chill. He didn't ask any of those standard interview questions. He just wanted to know if you could do the job and then we went over my experience. Although I was told that I was going to be pitching and presenting that didn't happen. Maybe the manager forgot, I'm not entirely sure. I also didn't get any feedback about the two activities that I had to do.
The second part of the interview was to see if I was a cultural fit. It was basically a conversation. She just wanted to know what my goals were. Nothing to hard about it at all.
About 3 weeks later I got an offer letter. I'm super excited to start.
