I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uline (Hudson, WI)
Interview
Applied online, received a call the next day and scheduled an interview for a day later. Before hand had assessments including a sales test and writing sample as well as personality tests. They were not very hard. Went to first interview first took 2 wonderlic tests one had to do with number sequencing and matching numbers, this job is logistics based so they want people who can be quick with numbers. First me with HR recruiter, interview was normal asked pretty standard questions after that I met with the warehouse supervisor and toured facility. After that I met with HR coordinator, again pretty normal interview. After we were finished she set up an interview for me to meet the Branch Manager. A few days later I met with him we talked about pay and the job description more. Finally met with the HR coordinator one time and was given a fairly good offer and accepted it pending background and reference checks. Overall, this interview process is long and definitely unorthodox, but Uline is looking for good workers no matter what position. Do the research on the company and show them why you want to work here. If you have a "this is easy" mentality to the job you will not land a job here.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uline (Coppell, TX) in Aug 2016
Interview
Applied late at night and was called the next day to schedule an interview. Felt like they didn't review my resume or application. They sent 4 assessments only one took longer than 5 mins to complete which was a sales personality test. Again took another 2 assessments which were timed at 4 mins each. Then I met with an HR rep in an open room in the office and was asked multiple questions and was cut off when I tried to answer and give explanations behind them. The said I would not make it working in the warehouse and that I should have applied for a sales position instead.
Interview with about 4 different people. Not hard if you're just confident and willing to work the hours. You'll sit down with a warehouse manager and then get a tour of the warehouse
