The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon in Mar 2010
Interview
The woman on the telephone was friendly, but misleading. After speak to me and asking me to come in for an interview, I asked her to confirm the posted salary and she did. Conversely, during the interview, I discovered that the posted salary was no where close to the actual salary. The employees did not appear as educated as I would have hoped. Maybe this is why they are not known for their customer service. Basically, they need to focus on hiring better people and giving them more of an incentive to be hired.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2008
Interview
I applied online and was granted my first panel interview (more like a meet and greet) in one of the Verizon Wireless locations in the city. From there, I had a second panel interview with HR reps where I was so offended by some of the most pointless, idiotic questions I have ever been asked in an interview. I nearly demanded an apology from the both of them for wasting my time.
