I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Feb 2014
Interview
2 weeks after submitting my resume, I got a phone screening asking behavioral question like why I apply, and what do I want from this experience. About a week later they called again to schedule an in person interview. The interview was very easy and just want to see what position would best fit me. They asked questions about my resume and projects wanting to know why i did what i did.

Interview
It was an on campus interview where, I guess, they found my resume from my college's career services website for a software intern position. They had 2 rounds of behavior interviews asking about prior projects I had done and my role on them. It was sort of disappointing because they basically asked the same question twice, which makes for a boring interview. The interviewer was also late.

Interview
Product and Software Internship
Gave them my resume at the career fair and they contacted me through email ~within a week. All that was asked was to fill out an application online for their produce and software internship.
A day after I was contacted to complete their online interview through montage. Basically there's about 4 basic behavioral questions on it and you just dress nicely and record your answers (there's no actual person listening in as you are recording).
Afterwards I got an email through my school about an on-campus interview. Which I just completed last week. Interview was a walk through my resume and a couple behavioral questions related to projects on the resume.
I'm still waiting to hear back.
