Verizon interview questions

2 technical rounds were there. On 2nd round one manager asked simple questions and I gave answers for all , there was no cross questions and he looked satisfied But after a week I got a rejected mail. There was one unrelevent question (what is your hometown] I felt he is not comfortable with my city which I belong to (though he is from same state but different city] Waste of time

The interview process is simple and easy. There are no multiple rounds or annoying extra steps, the hiring team seems serious and I’m hoping they’ll get back to me with a decision.
