I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Chandler, AZ) in Nov 2020
Interview
It was a multi step interview process. They look for quality workers, but also were willing to invest in me as a person. I was initially sought out through a recruiter, but also had to go through the complete interview process.

Question 1
How would you diffuse an emotionally turbulent customer service scenario?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Alpharetta, GA) in Apr 2024
Interview
The HR department contacts you to do a prescreen. The HR department forwards your resume to the hiring manager and recommends you for an interview. If selected, the hiring manager contacts the applicant to perform the interview, which usually consists of 5-6 behavioral questions. The hiring manager advisesyou will be contacted if you will go on to the 2nd round if there is a 2nd round of interviews. If you get a 2nd round interview, you are either contacted with an offer from the hiring manager or will receive a automated email you were not selected.
After applying, they had everyone come in at the same time. Then the manager had you come in one at a time to talk to him. He didn't ask any questions but had you try to sell him a pen. I did not have sales experience so I didn't do well at all. While non-traditional, I would say that at least the manager provided some feedback before ending the session. In all, the wait was the longest time. The "interview" itself took about 10 minutes. .
