First was a phone call from HQ in NJ about seeing my application. He told me that they usually hire within the company, but saw my application and he wanted to forward it to the hiring manager. Week later the hiring manager gave me a phone interview. A week after that, was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and the senior engineer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were all based on wireless communication, some straight out my homework or test assignments at school (I went to school for BS in Electrical Engineering).
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Elgin, SC) in Nov 2013
Interview
The process is very tedious. There are about five parts: Phone interview, assessment, phone interview, face to face interview, drug and background check. They try to fill the training classes as fast as possible so expect to spend a few days out the week to complete the process. They ask ALOT of scenario questions so be sure to have examples with specifics. Everyone that I encountered were very nice and pleasant.

Question 1
What made the questions somewhat difficult would be coming up with specific examples for each question they asked.
