Verizon Software Developer interview questions

As usual the basics (which includes DSA, OOPS, DBMS, OS), your projects, a problem solving session and they were totally into GenAI this time. The interview was a nice experience and it was my first interview btw.

Rounds: Online Test – 4 parts Essay Writing: Short article on “Effects of Pollution”. Coding Questions: 2 problems (easy to medium). Verbal Ability: Selecting maximum synonyms for given words. Gaming Round: Quick problem-solving game. (I cleared this round and moved ahead). Group Discussion (GD): Topic: “Threat on Security and Creativity from ChatGPT”. Easy to moderate, more about logical reasoning and communication skills. Cleared this round. Online Prompt Round (Non-eliminatory): Had to give prompts we can use with ChatGPT. Not an elimination round. Technical Interview: Questions on coding, problem-solving approach, and past projects. HR Interview: General questions about background, skills, and willingness to relocate.
