I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Jersey City, NJ) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was not too bad. The people were really nice and care about your personal growth as well as your professional growth. I really enjoyed talking to the administrators, super cool experience. Very humble and down to earth. would interview again
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Deerfield, IL) in Jul 2018
Interview
The initial phone interviews were good (recruiter and reporting manager/team). Both instances were pretty good. The call with the reporting manager & team was a bit intensive but relatively simple. All-in-all, I felt I answered all questions (both from a technical and business perspective) pretty well.
The reason for the negative rating was when I went in for a face to face meeting. I was supposed to meet up with the reporting manager (Director actually) and he was a no-show.
When interviewing for a management position, ghosting a possible candidate shows a lack of professionalism. I stuck around for 20 min then left extremely disappointed.
A week later, a director of recruitment called me to apologize. A bit late but I was grateful for that call. But to allow Directors to operate in this manner shows that Walgreens is not the company I would want to work for.
