Online application and in person interview. It does take awhile for your online application to be viewed because it is such a popular place to work, if you know someone in the store or on the corporate side they can really help to get your application to the top of the pile. It also depends on when you apply and their needs for employees. If you are flexible with where you work it helps
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work here? What are your strengths?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
I filled out an online application and got a call about two weeks later for a phone interview. The phone interview was fairly simple, but a great deal of questions were asked at once, mostly of previous work history/experience. That same week I scheduled an in-person interview with two managers, which was very pleasant, but again, very packed with questions. Almost all questions were behavioral, so have a few success stories ready from past school/work experiences that fit the questions. The interviewers were patient and extremely welcoming, so both interviews were pretty relaxed. I'm currently waiting for a call about an offer or rejection.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Lockport, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
