I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets in May 2015
Interview
I submitted an application online and heard back within a couple days by e-mail from HR (central recruiter) for the location I applied for. She said she would like to schedule a phone interview. I responded by e-mail and we scheduled it for Friday, May 1 (application was submitted on the 18th of April and I was contacted initially on the 20th). That interview is pretty simple, asking questions like "Why do you want to work for wegmans?", "Tell me about your experiences with food", and a bit more, as well as just confirming and asking questions about your schedule.
I got a call on Monday (the 4th of May) (HR does not work Saturday and Sunday) saying they would like to schedule an interview with the front end on that following Friday (May 8). I accepted and went in, I was interviewed by two people, I'm not exactly sure of their roles but I'm pretty sure it was store manager and assistant manager. (What I believed) to be the assistant manager came out and greeted me (I was asked to just sit outside of the service desk) just a couple minutes after the interview time. She made small talk as we went up to the management office. This is your first impression, so be positive and have a smile the second you meet them!
I go in and meet the other woman, and we sit down. The presumed manager asks me questions about the application and reiterates a lot of the questions from the phone interview, then the assistant manager asked about customer service scenarios. It took 30-45 minutes tops (no pun intended), then I left.
I got a call Monday the 11th from HR that I missed asking to "Follow-up" in the voicemail, when I dialed back they had left for the day, so I left a message and she called back Tuesday, the 12th. Side note, once she knew I was a minor (I am 15), she was mindful enough to call me after school hours, which is awesome.
I get my call Tuesday and she says she's just there to reiterate some things and make a job offer. She offered $8.75/hour with "pay evaluation every 6 months" I said min wage ($8.75) was fair in the interview, so I wasn't expecting much more albeit people below have gotten up to $9.20 ish. When I accepted she told me to take my working papers into the store and she would call me back when she got them, and now I am waiting for the call to set the rest up!

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Alexandria, VA) in May 2015
Interview
Basic questions focusing on supervision and comfort of being a supervisor. They wanted examples of management style and how I handled a difficult situation with an employee. Very comfortable interview process. It is important to know what you can provide Wegmans for the position you are applying for. I researched the company and was aware of their core values and how they treat their employees. It is important to also have some questions ready for them.
