Wegmans Food Markets interview questions

Interviewed in person when Wegmans was entering a new market. Had intial one on one interview then received a phone call to come back and sat with two managers for a second interview. Received a phone call with a job offer that day pending a drug/background check. Started training approximately 14 days later. The people were very friendly and asked alot of "give me an example of when" and "what do you think" open ended questions which gave you an opportunity to share your knowledge and viewpoints.

Two managers interviewed me in the cafe in Wegmans. They were very nice. They asked me if I wanted a cup of coffee. They asked me about my experience with dealing with customers. If I kept my current job, would I want less hours at Wegmans. They explained about the duties of the job. I asked if there was a employee discount, there was not. I asked about how long do you have to be there before you can get health insurance> You have to be there one year, and over 20 hours a week.
