World Resources Institute interview questions

I interviewed for a job with them last year. My friend had a similar experience with them very recently, so I decided to pop in here and leave a review. It was just a phone interview for me, brief (as was scheduled), but the hiring person I spoke with was honestly quite rude and sounded distracted/annoyed the whole interview. I think we both realized I was not a good fit for this role. For sure. But combined with having heard negative things from 2 colleagues who had worked there (Washington DC) previously a few years ago, it all left a sour taste in my mouth regarding this company. It was the first time I had ever sort of given up halfway through an interview and just wanted it to end, personally. Just being honest.

Fairly standard process. Initial call with the project manager and then a panel interview over Skype followed by a technical writing/research assignment. Most of the questions were around experience in similar roles and questions to see if I was a fit for the dynamic environment at WRI.
