Interview
You will work with a recruiter probably from the Chicago office for a pre- interview over the phone. They will ask you what you know about the company, history, acquisitions, etc. so be prepared and do your research. If you make it past the initial screening you will then be invited in for an in-person interview which if you pass you will be invited for a "ride along day" where you shadow one of the account executives. If they believe you would be a good fit they will then invite you back for a panel interview where you will give a presentation in front of 3 employees on the leadership team- the presentation will demonstrate your communication skills, what you have accomplished in the past, ability to speak in front of strangers, as well as an opportunity for you to sell and most importnatly close the deal in front of seasoned execs. From there you will receive a call from the recruiter if you received the job offer or not.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Be confident in why you want this position- they will ask you your level of comfortability/ knowledge in the industry and why you want the job. Hint: be true and hones to yourself- if you can't see yourself doing the job long term after the job shadow day then I wouldn't suggest taking the position- it's a very clear example of the day to day in the job.
