One of the key questions I was asked centered around binary trees, with a follow-up that required adapting the solution to work with N-ary trees, which added an extra layer of complexity in terms of traversal and state management.
One question was about sorting an array. The other question was about a binary search tree.
The phone based interview was simple behavioural based question. It was smooth, but one problem was they ask question "Tell a time when you were (_____)" and some times they fill very specific thing in the bracket. Its hard to think of all those times in an interview. Plus if the job is a graduate role, how come they expect that much of experience from a graduate? The questions should be more like "If you are in a scenario where (____), what will you do?"
