      Pros

      Global opportunities My team of 10-20 people is a fantastic group committed to professionalism and best practice Projects are world class and interesting Relatively flexible approach to life/work balance As much responsibility as I can hurt myself with :-)

      Cons

      Senior management outside my division don't inspire confidence Integration between divisions isn't great-- plenty of lost opportunities and suspicion. Lack of transparency on salaries is frustrating as I work in a regional office and get paid less that those who do the same job elsewhere Focus on shareholders/finances to detriment of staff training and perks

      Pros

      AECOM is continuously looking for ways to win bigger and more prestigious work. Their range of services is diverse and if you want to work overseas there are opportunities.

      Cons

      Unfortunately AECOM grows faster than an operating area can fully handle. Therr are too many discrepancies between how work is approached and accomplished and integration is difficult when a new company is acquired so quickly.

      Wide Range of Technical Expertise. There are talented people in the company, but their work is not valued by management.

      Cons

      Management by fear. Lack of feedback to employees, or deceptive feedback. Illogical decisions based upon the bottom-line with no consideration of the long-term negative impact. This is a soul-crushing place to work.
