Graduates are expected to meet an unrealistic 90% utilization rate, however are dependent on their superiors to provide them work. Billable hours and performance targets are the sole concern for the organisation, no focus on personal development or outstanding work. AECOM's business model is to grow by aggressive acquisition which leads to dysfunctional systems, mass dissatisfaction and a high staff turnover rate. The business seeks to win government contacts and overcharge for ghost hours.

No direction and leadership. Projects are always overdelivered at the expense of employee welfare. Zero talent retention initiatives. Zero training. No structured career progression. Management leads people on with empty promises. Overall, company treats people like a pawn.
