Pros

The people are generally lovely in virtually every area of the business; the local heads of business are genuinely pretty approachable and open to suggestions for improvements that might make their lives easier or reduce a few $$$ here or there.

Cons

Be wary. As much as I may love the company locally; I have nothing but disagreement at the highest echelons. In the last year, i've watched as the global head of IT has absolutely dumped anyone (even whole teams) with so much knowledge, in favour of outsourcing it to a company that appear incapable of fastening their own shoes.

Pros

Good 401K 9% contribution Good yearly bonus of more than 20% of yearly salary

Cons

Management is on destruction path. Almost all of good people are gone, there are bunch of jockers now running the company, I would just say killing the company. I would be surprised if the company stay in business for 5 more years.

Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Pretty much everything. No raises after 8-10 years, no career development or mentoring, unwillingness to invest in technology or people, mass layoffs, moving to offshore model, take your pick. If you are Indian you can do well at AIG.
