Isn't bad. the benefits are wonderful the moment you start. Pay is acceptable.

Cons

It is customer service. You're on the phones during the entire duration of the shift. Your schedule adherence is monitored heavily.

Pros

Best insurance company one can work with, responsible for keeping premium, claims, reserve numbers in watch for private client consumer segment for AIG. Great exposure to US Insurance company ways of working for accounting and reporting.

Cons

Still new set up for India back office exposure, many policies are in draft and lack of clear view for future course of actions as captive unit. No clear visible line between third party outsourcing and captive unit for AIG.

Laid back work life balance - for interns, at least

Cons

Politics. Understandable for such an old finance company, but it sucks. You can't really get anywhere in the company and re-organization apparently means the people you managed could end up being your manager? Makes no sense. Stagnant company going no where fast.
