Pros

Offices tend to have a good amount of autonomy, although that is quickly changing for the worse. Looks good on cv. Survive and you will come out a better person for it.

Cons

Terrible it systems, millions of managers, horrible people getting hired/promoted into middle management, disgusting yearly review process.

Pros

There are many opportunities to expand your knowledge base and experience in a relatively short time. Direct lower-level managers are often supportive of employees and their needs. The global nature of the company can provide chances for many employees to gain international experience.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are hard to come by, and employees are often required to perform tasks and take on responsibilities of higher positions without receiving the appropriate title or compensation in return. Individual workload can often be excessive, and many positions unofficially require employees to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays in order to meet unreasonable deadlines, for which no compensation is provided. Salaries have been stagnant for several years, with the introduction of a new (not guaranteed) short-term incentive that has effectively halted proper salary increases. In many areas, reorganization occurs on a very frequent basis, which makes it difficult to effectively raise long-term concerns due to constantly changing reporting lines.
