Cons

Work life balance is a challenge. If issued a blackberry, you are expected to respond, being on vacation is not a good excuse

The management team is great and they are really understanding of your social/personal life. Pay is good and the community is tight.

Cons

The only big downside is the fact that people still look down on AIG (Chartis is the renamed property and insurance casualty group of AIG).

Cons

Bureaucracy like anywhere else. Focused on the bottom line. Benefits have been trimmed back. Many layoffs. Government is involved in the business now.
