Pros

Great culture with strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Excellent benefits packages were offered for health and retirement, and AIG doubled employee contributions made to non-profit organizations--which is the most generous match program I've ever experienced from an employer. Compensation was competitive and communication and transparency from senior leadership was largely solid, with a few exceptions. Overall employee retention and satisfaction remained high during the majority of my time working for AIG, and I would recommend AIG as a great company to work for.

Cons

Employees often experience poor IT service to the point it's disruptive to daily work progress. As with most large corporations, there was a tendency at AIG to get mired by bureaucratic processes that impeded agility and productivity.
