AIG has so many product lines that the opportunities seem endless. Claims, actuary science, finance, safety and analytics, loss control, IT, credit, and underwriting have so many levels that you can navigate. The environment is all about getting the work done, and nobody is forced to sit in silence all day. The people you work with can be very kind, relatable, and helpful.

Cons

The appetite is not consistent so the work is ever changing. The underwriting platform is still being ironed out so there are snags that slow down quotes. The company is liable to lay people off so teams can be stretch thin at times.
