Pros

Great coworkers, great work-life balance, amazing benefits. Plenty of opportunities for advancement. I like working here and have had plenty of great experiences.

Cons

Lots of uncertainty right now with the impending GE purchase. Other than that, the company is great to work for!

Pros

Alstom, being a multinational company, allows some flexibility in career development - moving between divisions or from country to country. This may be interesting to those who like to move often.

Cons

Relatively low salaries and benefits. Lots of micromanagement which only wastes time and achieves nothing. Slow and bureaucratic structure, even taking into account their size and geographic spread.
