Pros

Before 2021 or so work/life balance, pay, and management were great.

Cons

They changed upper management a few years back and since then it has ruined the company's culture. Change in pay structure caused sellers who had been there for a decade or more to take a 30% pay cut. Work/life balance took a huge hit as people were expected to do twice as much work for much less pay. New upper management is clueless and consistently makes decisions that negatively effect the teams they lead while bragging about their vacation houses and yachts. It broke my heart to see a once great company that I was a part of for nearly a decade falling apart due to poor leadership.

Pros

The only pro for me was it was close to home

Cons

1. Horrible supervisor who controlled and manipulated like a dictator. 2. schedules were never steady, constantly changing. 3. back stabbing 4. intimidation by supervisor lead to co-workers stabbing you in the back. 5. Sent us letters that on Feb 1, 2022 we would be fired if we didn't get the vaccine 6. I had great "quality" and "efficiency" numbers, only to be harassed by the supervisor simply because my "completion" numbers were not meeting the goal. BUT the entire reason I wasn't meeting that goal was because I was always being dispatched on "copper" instead of fiber jobs. Other techs were getting all fiber and was easy to hit that completion number. THIS WAS EVIL. 7, When I stood up to this bully supervisor for his manipulating, he then twisted it and said that he would "stand up to you and not let you intimidate me" UM WHAT? I WASN"T THE INTIMIDATOR OF EVERYONE, HE WAS. 8. supervisor doing everything he could to get the techs against one another, and was successful. absolutely horrible experience.

Pros

AT&T was a good place to work, in the office or remote. However, leadership often could not decide if remote was acceptable so there was times an office was required and times one could work remote - for the same job.

Cons

The constant reduction in force. It would seem that to maintain the cost of employees that there would frequently be a reduction in force and then there would be subsequent hiring and training of new employees.
