Pros

Uncapped commission Fame points (money)

Cons

Union; you’ll never get weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) off as a new hire unless the people that’s been in the store for longer than you quit. TIME POINTS; a true nightmare. You have 10 min grace period to get to work but if you take 11 min, they add 2 hours to an app that measures your time/schedule. If you reach 36 hours in 6 months you’re fired. Hours reset every 6 months BUT have in mind that being a new hire means you cannot request days off so just by calling out 2 days that’s 16 hours. Very annoying. Be on time. Depending on the manager it could be a nightmare. I did have great managers and I was always top 3 seller so I never had any issues or those “talks” in the office about how poorly you’re doing. If you’re NOT a sales person, just don’t apply here Only 2 schedules available

Pros

Good pay, great commission “The Golden handcuffs of AT&T”

Cons

Work to family life is totally unbalanced. They don’t care if your kid is sick. They just don’t care. Their version of HR is horrible! He can never get a clear answer from anyone, and everyone says you have to go somewhere else to get the answer. If you call and you get somebody from overseas every time. It is so difficult to get your information from them. It’s ridiculous.

Pros

Benefits, working outside, pay prior to 2004 was very good.

Cons

Employees are nothing but a number as far as how you are treated. The company constantly preaches safety but continually demands you respond to unsafe environments and conditions. No family life outside of the company due to the amount of overtime worked. Management has absolutely no idea what happens in the field on a day to day basis and is only concerned about there numbers looking good despite the numerous roadblocks techs have to negotiate daily. I personally am divorced and lost my family due to working 3rd shift from what was explained to me that “some tickets don’t look good open 24 hours in this column and it looks better in this column” not for better customer service but because it looks better in a different column to someone 5 states away… After 2 years the 3rd shift went away due to lack of work every night and of course having techs out at 1am might be a safety issue.
