Pros

It is way better than verizon to say the least. First of all the plans and the prices are a lot better. The overall coverage is actually better than verizon. AT&T has roll over min and they have GSM technology. This means that you can switch phones and use your device anywhere in the world. Something that verizon can't do.

Cons

The downsides are that there is a lot of stress. Be prepared to work and really earn your commissions. The base pay is about $15 an hour now but the bulk of your salary should come from commission. Your basically paid for new activations , upgrades as well as add on features.

Pros

The Salary and benefits are great. The presence of a union makes a big difference in the rights we have as employees.

Cons

Employees are treated like children. I'm reminded of middle/high school. There is absolutely no potential for upward mobility. Despite having a college education and years of experience, I've been locked into the same position for years. My supervisor told me that I would not be able to apply for any other jobs within the company because she doesn't like me personally. Money isn't everything.

Pros

It pays well and the benefits are competitive. For the "in footprint" markets there are many areas of the company to work. The vacation policy is great! I also really like what we do and the service we provide.

Cons

The company has become so beauracratic that it's almost impossible to get anything done. Forcing wireline-like standards on a wireless Network is going to kill it. The arrogance with which it's being done is completely offensive.
