Pros

Competitive Salary with Sub-Par benefits package.

Cons

Very stressful work environment. Low morale. Sub-par benefits package, Minimal to non-existent training, extremely micro-managed, Little to no job security, frequent surpluses and/or layoffs to offset huge Executive Bonuses . If you have no desire to climb the corporate ladder and are okay with doing the same job for 20+ years with no chance for advancement or appreciation, AT&T is for you.

Pros

The compensation and benefits are okay.

Cons

Scheduling is picked randomly by someone in a different state. We were able to trade with other techs to offer a wee bit of flexibility to our schedules. There are talks now of no trading and a completely rigid schedule. Forced overtime without being notified. Good luck trying to plan anything else in life. No room for school, or other sort of job training. No room for family. You must know your vacation schedule right at the beginning of the year otherwise it's not guaranteed. Seniority is a thing of the past. No Union representation (even though they take your money). MEANS OF THE BUSINESS, MEANS OF THE BUSINESS, MEANS OF THE BUSINESS. Rather than creating an awesome environment to work, employees are instilled with a sense of fear by having the business code of conduct constantly slapped in their face. The list goes on...
