Pros

During your 8 hour shift, you are on the phone. Constantly. Your breaks are predetermined. That is, you cannot take a break at a time you want. Your performance is solely measured with quantitative numbers e.g. how long your calls are and how many technicians you send on site. No one really cares if you help the customers.

Cons

Literally nothing. I mean you get your salary, if that's something.

Pros

The money. If you’re willing to be treated like garbage for a decent paycheck then go for it. I rather live under a bridge.

Cons

Management is power hungry Favoritism runs rampant Micro management is the name of the game You will feel like you’re about to lose your job everyday The union works for them They will make changes(to your schedule, your seating, your role) on a weekly basis They will treat you like dirt

Pros

Great environment and Active scene its Tech based there is a great Benefits package with Tuition reimbursement if you take advantage of it. I have the best Coworkers

Cons

There is a sense of uncertainty at all times with the job, continuous layoffs have put Every one on edge most have been. Looking for new jobs. It's bad for the cultural environment when everyday you hear about layoffs and know you might be next. Also, WAYYYY too many chiefs. And some who should be evaluated because they are more a burden with their precense than help. They cut commission rate or more accurately put a cap so employees aren't trying as hard.

AT&T Response

Thank you for recognizing the great benefits and rewards we have to offer. Due to constant changes in the industry and technology, we sometimes have to restructure to remain competitive and meet the needs of the business. When this happens, we do our best to offer our employees as many options as we can to help them find other positions within and outside the company. We appreciate your feedback – it’s very important to us and the work we do to make AT&T a better place to work.
