Pros

They have a lot of overtime. They fire experienced control room operators and bring guys in from the field and pay them a 1/3 of the wage.

Cons

1950s style management they constantly write people up for minor offenses, rule with fear and intimidation There "quick to fire" unless of course your Spanish. They bring in people from Spain on visas who don't know how to run the control room!! Over looking power block operators that have put in the time. They have fired only White Americans. They don't follow america guidelines, they cover up Hazard Waste and the Reporting of Spills. They don't report large HTF spills. All in house investigations on all major explosions. Feb of last year they had a HTF Release and it was never reported to local media and had entered the atmosphere, in which had the authorities been informed it would have been classified as a Major Release, Environmental Disaster!!! Things just don't add up at Abengoa "SOLANA" Gila Bend. Corruption all the way from the top. American Tax Dollars being laundered in the Billions. "APS" Arizona Public Services" likes to tout that they have this plant in there portfolio to cover there Green Energy Requirements on all the local TV and radio stations not really realizing all the scandalous cover-ups that there having to deal with with this company even down to the reporting requirements of there Power Purchase Agreement.
