Pros

Met some nice people Didn't have far to travel from home Christmas bonus was good

Cons

Company completely strips you of any personality you may have, worst atmosphere I have ever worked in, not enough opportunities to move up within the company, promotions are always given to the less qualified for the job simply because they are 'yes' men and will do what management want them to do, they do not want outspoken people with ideas and opinions of their own to work for them, they simply want drones who agree with everything they say or do, plenty of team leaders in there have no idea what they are doing and make mistakes daily and blame it on their staff. Training for new staff is appalling, months spent taking out staples and stuffing envelopes before being thrown onto a computer and not one member of staff in the department knows the right way of doing a task because they have all been told different information fed down by management who haven't got a clue either but then blame their staff if it's wrong!!

Can this get any worse?

Pros

Basic health insurance, pension, for some people the opportunity to work from home, colleagues from all over the world.

Cons

The multinational and the multicultural diversity is such an attractive feature of this company, what a pity this is not reflected in the Dublin office management at all. All the comments mentioning racism got deleted from Glassdoor but what else is it? How else can you explain this? Are the majority of foreigners not fit for the purpose? What message is this company giving? I've been working in this company for a very, very long time. Say what you want I simply know how this place works. To be fair to many of my great lovely Irish colleagues racism isn't the primary cause of foreigners not being promoted to managerial positions, it is favoritism and nepotism. If you don't have the right friends even family (yes, family too) in the right places you just can't make it here. If you are a foreigner you may perceived as racism. But the company is now feeling the impact of their long neglect of these issues. People are leaving with no jobs to go to! It can't get any worse. The atmosphere in this company is absolutely awful.

Pros

Nice colleagues who support each other and help each other through the stress created by management. You can make life long friendships.

Cons

Toxic management, no regard for employees. Many employees taking stress leave or leaving to due unnecessary stress placed on them by management.
