Pros

Diverse and multicultural atmosphere, regular paycheck upgrade if you stay there long enough

Cons

Management and team leaders are totally unprofessional, bullying and gossip are not only allowed but awarded at times. Complaints about leadership bullying and abuse go unheard and ignored by HR

Pros

Location okay for some Canteen that serves hot food Benefits are reasonable Pay is at market rate or slightly above

Cons

I worked there for quite some time. It was always busy but doable. Challenging work but used to be a great sense of teamwork, pride in a job well done and recognition of hardworking and loyal staff. In recent years however the rapid decline in staff morale can be attributed to the cost saving drives to reduce headcount in already understaffed operational departments and a rapid increase in bullying and harassment practices. Management incompetence, ignorance, insecurity and lack of integrity is rife in the organisation at all levels and most departments. (Fake smiles, anyone??) The culture is now to manage by fear, push people to and beyond their limits and to discard and 'manage out' when staff are inevitably burnt out and stressed out of their minds. I've never known so many people to be out of work certified sick because of stress. Impossible demands by clueless managers who look for more and more. Whatever you do, don't challenge the status quo or give contradictory views on some of the bizarre and laughable initiatives that are given priority. It is like dealing with the alt right, facts mean nothing to some of these people. To do well here, leave your brain and your own thoughts at the door and agree with what management says. It used to be a great place to work but sadly old school autocratic bullying management styles are the norm there now. I am like a new person since I left and realise what a normal work environment looks and feels like. HR are either complicit with management or completely ineffective in improving the toxic situation, my guess is the latter. Doesn't look good when most of the HR team left over the past couple of years. Staff turnover is through the roof for a reason and I've never experienced such low morale or toxic workplace in my life. Giving out free ice creams and the like will not fix the big issues.
