Pros

Benefits like tax saver, pension, salary..

Cons

Toxic work place environment, where you are bullied into work overtime, change teams and shifts constantly, where you are obliged to stay late when your colleagues are on holiday or sick and are presented this "overtime" as a favour as they are being so flexible with you all the time. Departments going through transformation processes, people losing jobs and leaving a load of workload on the remaining colleagues with a increase of targets and number of daily emails to "make up" the workforce loss. In the most recent town hall at Allianz a very important person from HR asked staff not to post reviews online as it was making recruitment difficult. I wish that instead of saying that they would act and actually decide to change things on the company and treat people as people not numbers.

Thank you for your review. My message at the Town hall was to ask you to be mindful of what you write online and how it impacts not only potential hires but also your colleagues who are reading incorrect facts and personal comments. I also said that I will thoroughly address and investigate any complaint made through the company's procedures - such as our Grievance procedure. I said I cannot act upon accusations made anonymously through social media sites. I hope you understand this. Therefore I would ask that you come and see me and I am happy to discuss any of your concerns face to face. Transformation and change are normal in any growing business, we are a client centric company where we put our customers first. We wish to maintain this reputation by consistently providing excellent service to our clients. Paid Overtime is requested when we need extra hands on board to help service our clients. Regards Claire Cusack HR Director.

Pros

Nice colleagues, job is easy and repetitive (I like this kind of jobs/ tasks)

Cons

Too much gossip The positive reviews are all written is excellent English and we know what that means If you become inconvenient for the company they give you on purpose difficult tasks so you can't reach your target. As soon as you don't reach your target they will bully you out of the company Many (not all but many) promotions are ridiculous. You just need to take a look at the Facebook profiles of our managers and team leads and you understand that they mostly promote their friends (at least you can change your fb profiles to private mode so we won't be able to see your pictures and posts) An open-minded colleague even told us that she had sexual intercourse with our Team Lead the day of last year's Christmas party. Two months later she got promoted. Most town halls are just about the profit of the company. Since I'm in the company we never had a single town hall where we were asked how to improve the working environment because the company obviously doesn't care about their employees HR replied to a review (the review is called "Help!") from the 22nd of August where they explained that they are currently busy but will reply as soon as possible. Two months later - still no reply. This is how much HR cares about their employees.

Hello, and thanks for your review. We're glad to hear you like your job and the colleagues you work with. As stated many times below, bullying is not tolerated and there are official ways in which you can bring this kind of behavior to the attention of HR. If you have a grievance, you are encouraged to bring this to the attention of your HR Business Partner. In relation to the gossip you mention, what you see on social media is not always real life, and people's online profiles sometimes do not tell the full or true story. This is also true with regards to promotions where there appears to be a lot of hearsay, and posting online about what a colleague said or did only adds to the 'gossip' you list as a con above. Town Hall meetings address company performance as this is an important indicator of how the company is doing and how secure we all are in our jobs. Improving the mechanics of how our company works is part of the AES survey and follow up actions that are taken. We hope you enjoyed the Town Hall on the 24th October where some of these items were discussed. Regarding responses to reviews on this site, HR is a busy function, we mainly focus on the day to day tasks that keep our company moving. If responses are delayed it is because we are working on improving our employees' experiences. Kind regards, Human Resources
