Claims - Job That Can Be Done By A Child!

Pros

After a while this job becomes very handy so you won’t have problems with your target. It’s very repetitive and doesn’t require any analytic skills. The claims department is the right place if you are searching for a job that can be done by a 5 years old child.

Cons

The company is extremely mismanaged. Most of the supervisors and Team Leads (mostly Irish) spend half of the day on social media (Facebook, Youtube, eBay). This company doesn’t invest anything in their employees. The system is constantly down. The kitchen is always dirty and looks like animals are living inside. People are not cleaning up after themselves. It looks disgusting! I will never understand what the cleaning ladies are actually doing. You will find the place in the same condition as you left it the evening before. I don’t understand how the company isn’t ashamed to bring their clients into their buildings. The canteen is overpriced. As the company is in Parkwest and there is nothing close by the only other option is to bring your own food and to put it in the smallest fridge you have ever seen in your life. Honestly, the fridge looks like it was created for Hobbits. We are even making jokes that the company doesn’t want to buy a proper fridge to make us buy food in the canteen. During the interview employees are told that they are getting a language bonus if they use English + 2 more language. However, many employees don’t get this bonus because of ridiculous reasons e.g. the company considers mandarin and cantonese as the same language. Everyone who has a bit of understanding of Asian culture knows that these are completely different languages. Most of the photos on Glassdoor are photoshopped. Just compare the majority of pictures with the 2 pictures of our kitchen as well as the 1 picture that shows our computers and the “welcome package”. Yes, you see right – Allianz employees are getting 1 notebook and 1 pen as a welcome package.
