Pros

Depending on the org and team: - work on projects that reach millions of users - see the relentlessly high standards when building solutions - work with super smart people - work with cool pieces of technologies

Cons

Again, depends, but: - can be a stressful, competitive, cutthroat environment - ownership frequently means that everyone's out for themselves - there's some trash pieces of technology and waaay outdated versions of frameworks/libraries in active use - you might have to spend ridiculous amount of work on a small feature because of how many users it can affect
