Amazon isn't terrible

Pros

Amazon has lots of benefit options and access. Get to work with really great people and assist associates with barriers. Great opportunity for personal development growth and development. Amazon prefers to promote internally, if that is your goal.

Cons

May be specific to the site I'm at, but minimal support above Area Manager and if Ops or Seniors do provide input it doesn't align with the reality of those actually in the department day in and day out. Can be lots of micromanaging and nitpicking demands, depending on upper leadership. Workload can get hectic, plus dealing with unreasonable associates on occassion. Pay is sufficient to make ends meet, but not great and not what the work is worth.

Pros

The benefits are absolutely amazing.

Cons

The pay is just about two dollars more than a tier one. You will work 10 to 12 hours a day and make money due to MET, but your mental and physical health will suffer.
