Pros

-Ownership -Amazon give you the opportunity to be yourself, wearing anything you like. -Most of your leaders have your age and understand the new world. -You always have something to do, you can improve everything because the process are always changing.

Cons

-Because Amazon hire the best employees, some people forgot to be humble and treated others like equals. -Sometimes the work environment its to competitive between your peers. -The process of hiring its sometimes very stressful and to uncertainty.

Pros

- Great culture and mindset - Attractive compensation and salary plan - Flat organization - Learning and improving one self is on your hands

Cons

- Adapting requires disposition to break old mental models - You will have to read a lot and with focus as writing is essential (doesn't mean everyone does it right) to their culture. - Not for you if you like having an instruction guide on how to do things

Pros

It's been one of the toughest selection process I've participated in, but all in all rewarding. Launch into production has been also a meticulous process, you're presented with a series of trainings and activities that may last up to 3 months after your start date but always maintaining a Day-1 spirit. Team has been welcoming and cooperative.

Cons

Personal agenda will be packed with activities once you enter into production so work-life harmony will have to come from employee's side. I don't see this necessarily a bad thing, though a bit stressful and demanding at times for sure.
