Pros

Good salary. Looks good on your resume

Cons

The job is dumb. You don't do anything important or interesting, but you hear people talk all day long about how smart AWS people are and how great everything is. All lies.

Pros

Looks great on a resume Lots of amazing hard working honest caring people Upskilling programs. College tuition assistance and certification assistance Big company, can see internal job postings Working on cutting edge server equipment Internal wiki with loads of information

Cons

Outsourcing to contract workers that have little to no experience and aren't given proper training. Little promotions in DCO/DECOM/Install/Scaling. Most promotions go to DCEO Your manager is everything, can easily go from an amazing workplace culture to walking on eggshells depending on the management strategy Inconsistent expectations Ground floor and upper leadership communication non-existent Micro managing and metrics tracking moving into all departments through the "boost electron" system
