Pros

Most people and front-line managers are great, and the work can be very interesting.

Cons

Leadership under Jassy and Garman is a joke. Senior leadership seems to hate their employees and are actively trying to get us to quit. Everyone I know is demoralized and just hanging in because the job market is awful. Work/life balance is getting worse by the day.

Pros

AWS is still the most comprehensive, robust cloud offering top cloud services in the market. The salary and perks are good, not as great as they were a few years ago though.

Cons

Internally the company has taken a culture hit. Management are typical corporate, with little humanistic values. The company talks to their leadership principles but no longer folows them.
