Pros

Manufacturing environment. Steady work/hours. Climate controlled environment. Get to work at own pace, which is normal speed or fast depending on workflow. Get to perform different tasks in department which breaks up monotony.

Cons

Some supervisors have tendency to micromanage which can be frustrating for all. Very hard to move up the ladder here. Fear of making one mistake being the one that fires you. Very regulated environment, even minor documentation errors are big issues.

As you can imagine, because of the nature of our work, some roles require more stringent rules and management than others. We always encourage our employees, no matter what their role, to be open with their supervisors about any concerns.

Pros

Good salary, good work environment, friendly and compassionate coworkers. Great benefits from the start. Overall a good place to work

Cons

Too much upper management that sometimes does not know your job function which creates problems. Salaries rely on public donations so when the economy is bad there is no cost of living increase and benefits can be withdrawn.
