Pros

Honestly, there is not one positive thing that I can say about this company. My coworkers are absolutely amazing, but the company is a nightmare!

Cons

Everything is so completely backwards with this company. They make policies and procedures, but ask that you break these rules as soon as no one is watching so that you may work more efficiently. There is no room for advancement within the company, though after a short period of time you will have no desire to. The pay is decent hourly, but as a full time employee, I'm averaging 3 days a week, the rest being on call so I can not make plans with my family. The hours keep you from having any sort of normal life--one day you may have to get up at 1:30 AM and the next you may not get home until 11 at night. If you need an early or late day to schedule appointments, forget it. The only way to guaranteed to be off for said appointments, is to call out or request leave through FMLA. For a company that prides themselves on helping others, they have absolutely no respect for their own.

Pros

This used to be a great organization but over the past 3 years has disintegrated into a shell. VERY top heavy on ineffective management and fundraising staff. It is becoming primarily a fundraising organization with very little attention paid to its frontline service delivery. A series very serious errors have been made by the leadership over the past few year that continue to be in their positions - despite widespread knowledge that their policies have resulted in the dismantling of the organization.
