Pros

If you like hybrid roles

Cons

ARC misses the mark on recognizing vulnerable communities or the current need for Red Cross to step up and become a humanitarian organization in regards to immigration.

Poor Leadership

Pros

Still has a mission. But the brand and associated goodwill are the only positives.

Cons

Poor leadership. Senior leaders overpaid and out of touch. Technology (IT) is ghastly. The only organization that actually instructed leadership that if the System of Record were to fail, we were to inform the FDA or any auditors asking our back up plan was to “cease operations”.

Pros

One of the things I like best about American Red Cross is the work from home culture. The staff are friendly, work as a team, and work hard, are very intelligent.

Cons

Tendency to work too many hours.
