Great opportunities to improve communication skills. Very nice coworkers and managers.

Cons

Staying outdoors all the time. Salary is growing up too slow.

Pros

You meet some incredibly people committed to doing incredible work. At the international level the organization is inspiring and even effective. The history is meaningful - Amnesty is an institution, and laid the groundwork for many movements worldwide.

Cons

Everything else. Literally. I worked at AIUSA, which is a completely separate entity from AI headquarters in London. There is a new Executive Director every couple years, major restructuring every couple years, financial insecurities, and VERY poor management. Thank god for the union, or staff would be stomped on. People are churned through and spat out.
