Pros

1) Work ambiance is good(desk facilities,Desks,Laptop). 2) Extra activities are regular.( Eg: Independence day celebration, AON mela Etc). 3) Regular Team outing.

Cons

1) No development growth in IT, because AON is not IT company. 2) As there are less(2)technology departments in AON, so no cross technology training or dept shifting possible. 3) Management is not fair and autocratic. 4) There is always a chance they may shift you to Support work(in shifts).[Dangerous it is, your learning will stop and very difficult to get into another IT company next time]. 5) There many things (Last day letter, relieving letter ,Experience letter, Form 16) which are automated in regular IT companies are not automated in AON we have to write mail and follow up. Note: My Review is only related to AON-Bangalore 'IT department'.

Pros

Two words: Best Practices. AON exercises what's known as best practices for companies in just about every single stage of being part of a Fortune 500 company. Benefits like 401(k) matching, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO (personal holidays, vacation, sick), ref incentives, etc. And all the benefits start from day 1! Managers are approachable, my team is considered large and I honestly feel privileged to have all of them as co-workers. Everyone is very supportive and truly strive for personal and professional growth. The job itself can be stressful, but when you have a great team like I do everything just seems fantastic! I honestly can't describe how much I like and appreciate my job, I'm a critical thinker and my position requires just that from me on a daily basis. With that said, I feel right at home every day. Glad to be part of the team.

Cons

PTO time is hard to use, granted right off the bat you start off with a lot to be used, but if there are client needs to be met you can't use them until a day is available. Also, if there is going to be a blackout period to use PTO, then some PTO should be able to be carried over to the next year. Use it or lose it rule in this case is unnacceptable. Stressful job and maybe not enough pay for the amount of knowledge and responsibility on you, but with that said if this is an entry level position you'll start off with not the great pay but the right pay, then it becomes the great pay. because once you gain experience and are truly a veteran, the raises along the way will truly reflect your value and you will be getting paid what you deserve. But just like everything else in life, you have to earn it!
