Pros

Autonomy, hybrid working, plenty of offices and options for new roles

Cons

An elite clique exists at the top which protects itself. The company is full of nepo babies who disrespect whomever they please with total impunity. They're allowed to make mistakes, do whatever they want without any penalties. Instead, they get promoted. If anyone else not in that group did the same, they would get cut or shall I say made "redundant" whenever someone spiteful gains a new position of power. I honestly felt like I was back in high school. I also cannot believe that the "protected species" at this company could act in such a childlike, immature, unprofessional way, and everyone just turns the other cheek. I guess that's what happens when you no longer have to fear accountability.

Pros

Local office staff was great to work with and the culture was counter to Aon corporate. We were all loyal and working towards a common goal. We believed in what we were doing.

Cons

Frequent advancements with little to no pay, you are just a number, They will shut down your office at the drop of a hat if you aren’t bringing in consistent millions, Impersonal and politically oppressive to employees, You still mean nothing to them if you buy in to it. Corporate leadership is tone def and one sided. Worst company I’ve ever worked for. I stayed for the years that I did because the local office staff were great people that didn’t buy into the corporate culture. Aon is the definition of soulless. Avoid avoid avoid
