Not sure there are any cons

The part of the business I worked in was super unorganized, had zero written processes and overall was a toxic environment. They don’t have job descriptions (which is illegal in NZ) which meant we were consistently made to do whatever was handed to us. We had little autonomy over roles. The company internal systems are a nightmare to deal with which just adds complexity to your day. Aurecon base a lot of your performance on “feedback” through other employees, both written via workday and informally via inperson conversation. It’s created a gossipy culture where TL’s go behind your back and consistently weaponize hearsay against employees. Leadership is like an old boys clubs (with a few girls in the mix). Some of them treat people like trash. There are many snakes in the grass at this company. Be weary.
