      Culture is very hierarchical. People refer to each other by their "band" Culture is very uni-dimensional. Low "courage" - lots of self preservation maneuvers; not always tackling the real issues Fear of losing job, and high compensation permeates decisions Powerpoint obsessed.       Often toxic environment - in my time at BAT UK, I've both witnessed and experienced (on multiple occasions) - bullying behaviour, prejudice behaviour, ignorant/racially charged jokes/comments from senior managers, significant drug use (at social events and corporate Christmas parties) When it comes to leadership, as you go up the chain of command everyone is a Caucasian male = significant lack of diversity in senior positions.
