      Multi-cultural environment, global business, good learning opportunities

      Cons

      Boys' club, extremely political and toxic environment, 90% of the time is spent introspecting and building slides to take to meetings to prepare for other meetings. Very much a "who you know" company where incompetence is rewarded if you can tell a good joke

      BAT needs better senior leaders

      Pros

      Good salary and benefits, highly qualified professionals, connection with people from all around the world.

      Cons

      Business environment seems to be good in some business units, but I definitely cant's say the same about the headquarters in UK. If you survive this senior leadership team in good mental health, you are a superhero. Sexist board. Lack of innovation.

      Underpaid, overworked, and 1970's management

      401 K you receive an extra 3% if your not on the pension program for 9% total

      1. Management- management by fear, hide behind panel reviews as to why you your assignment is where all managers are taken but your not good enough for promotion consideration. You may rank in the top of your peers, even #1 and have done some fantastic work, but they have 1 person under each DM get a higher rating, which always goes to the person they are trying to promotion. The system is so broken any TM over 5 years has become synical and does close to the bare minimum. Overall, you will get the same raise as the person who leaves early friday to go hiking, never returns phone calls to peers, or even has retail stores that others have to help fix, as they haven't worked in weeks.
