BD reviews

BD is an Ageist company that treats anyone over a certain age as worthless. I was in a meeting last year where 30 + individuals were laid off. We were told we would receive notice of our termination dates. After the paperwork was received in the mail and we began to discuss our dates it was obvious that the people with earlier termination dates were the ones they were going to re hire in the restructure. But they posted the jobs and let people waste their time applying when they had already decided who they were keeping. I was given a very lame reason for rejection. That is an example of the kind of smoke and mirrors used by BD. I have never heard a company talk so much of 'transparency' and be so full of deceit and lies.

They are a multi billion dollar company that withstands anything because the manufacturer medical supplies and there will forever be a need for it, yet they had a mass layoff of 150 people at lunch time on a Thursday and it was horrific. Also the managers and supervisors only hire and move up the ones in their click. It has nothing to do with qualifications when making the decision.
