      Disappointing; Was great Employer in years past

      Pros

      American Owned company; Great product; Have contributed greatly to patient care and research; Strong brand name recognition; Good benefits package (although getting way more expensive by the day)

      Cons

      Poor Middle Management (VP level & Sales Mgr level); No innovative new products; Product has become a commodity; Mgmt does not fully understand the business, customer needs, or competitive landscape; Charges sales associates monthly to have company car for work and then charges for personal miles????

      The teams that you work with have one vision. Unfortunately this is not shared by the upper management or "Leadership Team"

      Cons

      The Leadership Team is poorly led, inexperienced and overall incompetent. There are too many "old school" BD associates on this team that are not up to date with current ideas and practices

      Nice cafeteria, some people are nice. The others will step over you and take your ideas to get ahead

      Cons

      Someone recently shared how much micromanagement goes on here. As a marketing leader who is told that you “own” your products,” in reality you are told exactly what to do even if you don’t agree with the strategy. R&D and design think they know the lab customers when in reality they made a total of 2 visits to a hospital, and have the arrogance to make final decisions in project meetings. Upper management shows up to reviews beating their chests with ridiculous demands and stupid questions that derail project progress. The toxicity and arrogance in Flakes nj has been going on for decades. The smart people leave and some get let go because upper mgt feels threatened by their knowledge. Do yourself a favor and don’t “get in the bus” here
